Based on our past experiences, we have restructured the Performance Related Bonuses starting July 2009.

This continous iteration process is in place to identify the right custom bonus package that is acceptable to everyone in the organisation.

The revised bonus plan involves creating two separate bonuses: Company Bonus and Monthly Employee Performance Bonus

1. Company Bonus: This is a bonus that is planned to be given based on the performance of the organisation.

Company bonus will be distributed twice in the year:
a. Deepavali Bonus: Based on the company performance from 1-Jan to 30-Jun, company bonus will be paid with the salary before the month of Deepavali.
b. Pongal:  Based on the company performance from 1-Jul to 31-Dec, company bonus will be paid with the salary before the month of Pongal.

2. Monthly Employee Performance Bonus: This is a bonus that is planned to be given based on an employee’s performance in a given month.

This bonus will be decided by the management team using the following information:
a. From the time tracker update provided by the employee, the list of projects will be selected.
b. In this list of projects, the hours spent will be calculated against the hours planned.
c. In this list of projects, the client’s view on the project and their feedback will also be considered.
d. This will be added to the management’s view of the contribution of the employee to the project.
e. In addition, the number of hours worked by the employee during the month is also taken into account.

Using the above information and the role played by the employee in the organisation, the bonus percentage will be decided each month.

Monthly bonuses will be paid out each month to those employees who qualify for it and earn it.

The bonus percentages will be based on the information given below:
a. Average – doing their job of delivering high quality solutions on time – 0% of monthly salary
b. Above Average – doing a good job of delivering high quality solutions ahead of time – 50% of monthly salary
c. Very Good – doing a good job of delivering very high quality solutios ahead of time – 100% of monthly salary
d. Exceptional – doing extremely good job with very high satisfaction response from the clients on all projects – 200% of monthly salary.

Usual Disclaimer: Employees should never assume that they will get a guaranteed bonus. Bonuses are based on performances as decided by Auro Infotech Management team and can be revoked at any time without prior notice.
